🌱Training
To maximize capacity building, we offer two types of training programs: invitational and on-site training.
Invitational training provides participants with the opportunity to fly to Korea for an intensive experience, touring farms and facilities around the country, attending lectures, and engaging in planning activities with fellow trainees. Trainees create Action Plans tailored to their community’s needs, enabling them to follow up on their training with tangible results when they return home.
In on-site training programs, renowned Korean agricultural and development experts are invited overseas to help locals resolve problems on the ground, visiting farms and rural communities. One advantage of on-site training is that while invitational training is limited to approximately 20 trainees per program, on-site training can accommodate up to 50 trainees, broadening the scope and impact of the program. Physical presence at project sites can also help experts offer more specific guidance due to better understanding of the local context.
🌱Development Consulting
Through our professional consulting services, we handle each project from beginning to end with a three-stage approach.
First, we carry out project design and a feasibility study in the planning phase. The next step is the actual project implementation. Finally, we handle performance management to ensure accurate assessment and meaningful results.
🌱Technology and Innovation
We are developing new technologies to apply in rural areas. These innovations are designed to be appropriate for locals to handle and maintain.
One such innovation is the PE greenhouse, with a frame constructed from plastic pipes. Traditional greenhouses built from steel are expensive, require special tools to shape the metal, and rust when exposed to continuous rain. Our plastic-framed greenhouses are inexpensive but strong. Farmers can assemble the parts themselves, and they do not rust. These greenhouses give farmers the opportunity to grow vegetables during the rainy season – the time that vegetables command the highest prices.
